There is nothing like a feeling of eating something American. The best place to get that ambience is
Hill Top Tavern. The reason I have grown fond of this place is the wood burning oven. Nothing beats a filet mignon cooked in such a natural way. This has to be one of the best steaks I have ate, steakhouses included. I selected the three course meal, with broccoli soup for starters, the filet mignon for my entre, and ended it with a great tasting cheesecake. Though its ambiance is not flamboyant, it does have a simple feel that emphasizes the food, more than the setting. The service is great, as is the wine selection. I would definitely recommend it.
